Falher is known as the “Honey Capital of Canada” a French speaking farming community and has a population of 941 (2006 Statistics)

Donnelly is a farming community and has a population of 293 (2006 Statistics).

The MD of Smoky River #130 consists of the surrounding areas of Girouxville, Falher, Jean Côté, Donnelly, McLennan, and Guy with a population of 2442 (2006 Statistics).

The village of Girouxville is a French Canadian farming community with a population of 282 people (2006 Statistics).

McLennan is known as the Bird Capital of Canada has a population of 824 people ((2006) Statistics)
